Tiny House Nation and Restaurant Impossible are two shows that showcase lots of great spaces, decor ideas and inspiring design – plus, a lot of DIY! We were tickled pink to see two our product lines, Front Door Paint and Metal Effects, featured on the shows. Care for a peek? Let’s go!
TINY HOUSE NATION
Tiny House Nation on the FYI™ Network follows renovation experts and hosts John Weisbarth and Zack Giffin as they travel across America to show off ingenious small spaces and the inventive people who live in them. This particular home was in Gainesville, FL, and was a 600 square foot tiny Victorian. After updating the home, they added a final finishing touch: non-fade Front Door Paint in Sophisticated. Who doesn’t love a red door? Gorgeous!
Leanne Lee is the Diva of DIY – a talented decorative painter with serious DIY inspiration. She joined the design team at Restaurant: Impossible (on the Food Network) and she and her team traveled the US to update restaurants in 36 hours flat. One of these projects took her to Orlando, FL. “Our mission was to give a once-thriving restaurant, Peppino’s, a much needed makeover,” Leanne shares. “As a team, our vision for the space was rustic charm. This is tough to achieve when you are bringing almost all new elements into the space.” She turned to Metal Effects Rust Finish to achieve a rich, rusted look in no time on bifold doors turned room dividers that were painted a lovely blue. She also patinated the window shutters. The result? Leanne says, “It is seriously one of my favorites we have done!”
Aren’t both these projects fantastic? Each episode has aired but you can click the episode links above for more information or catch new airings on their respective television channels. Have an inspired day!
