  1. Hello!
I have a question regarding Modern Masters Reactive Metallic Paints! I recently ordered both Bronze and Copper with Blue and Green Patinas and cant wait to start on my new project! My question was can I use these paints + patinas over tintable plaster finishes or along with crackle paste?
I would like to achieve patina finish over texturized finishes.

    Thank you!

    • Hi, Parita! Our best answer for this – because there are a wide variety of plasters and crackles with different formulations – would be to experiment, experiment, experiment. We would still recommend the Metal Effects Primer first as we do not know what kind of reaction the activator could have with the paste or textures, or if the color or adhesion would be effected. Creating samples prior to your project would give you the best idea for reactions, new techniques and quite possibly, happy accidents. Please keep us posted!
